Bro Merlin inherited a one man show hardware business from his father and transformed out into a business of sales teams, import, manufacturing & distribution. In 2008 he traded his family business for a business in life insurance after not finding happiness in the business.
His affinity with Buddhism started when Rev Mahinda did a pindapata at his house in Melaka in the 70s. Got his training in Buddhism in the 8th novitiate program in Maha Vihara under the late chief K Sri Dhammananda.
Served as committee member of Pahang Buddhist Association. President of Kuantan Buddhist Association. President of the Indera Mahkota Voluntary Fire Brigade. Member of the Malaysian reserve force.

Bro Yen Hoe started involving in Buddhist activities back in the year 2006, completed Certificate of Buddhist Studies at Nalanda Institute, Malaysia and attended Buddhist Gem Fellowship Effective Speaking Course. Now he is attending the Dhamma Speaker Training Program.
